Observation

• A network cable is an aggregate of thin lined wires fused together for the purpose of conveying signals between nodes.

• A network cable is a hardware device used to connect or link two or more computers together in order to share resources like Printers, scanners or application software e.t.c.

 

• A network cable is a medium through which data or information usually moves from one network device to another.

       (ii) Shielded twisted pair (STP)

    3.Fibre optic cable

       (i)Patch cable or patch cord

       (c)(i)  An email address identifies an email box on a network where electronic messages are sent and received while a website address is a reference to a resource that specifies the location of a document or resource on a computer network.                   

           An email address identifies an account on a mail server while a website address is a uniform  resource locator (URL) that links several static or dynamic web pages.

An email address usually contains the @ symbol which is never a part of a website address while a web address begins with either www. or https://

The candidates showed good knowledge of network cable, most candidates were also able to distinguish between an email address and a website address.
