The Chief Examiner reported that the standard of the paper was quite good.
According to the report, the question were of good quality, properly framed and capable of testing the concepts and skills for which it was intended. The report further stated that the paper was within the ability of an average candidate and had a good coverage of the syllabus. No ambiguous question was reported and the rubrics were reported to be clear. The marking scheme was also reported to be well drawn and flexible enough to accommodate the responses from the candidates.
The performance of the candidates was reported to be fair. This was attributed to the fact that candidates may not be very familiar with the subject as it was newly introduced and this was the very first examination on the subject. Better performances were expected in future examinations.
