(a) Distinguish between:
(i) a growing population and declining population;
(ii) overpopulation and underpopulation.
(b) Explain any four disadvantages of a rapidly growing population in an economy.
Observation
This question attracted majority of the candidates, most of whom performed very well . The candidates that attempted this question were able to distinguish between overpopulation and declining population, overpopulation and underpopulation. They were also able to expatiate on their points in the (c) part of the question, hence their marks scored were quite high.
