Observation
(a) The candidate is required to write an informal letter to his/her father telling him why he/she prefers learning a skill to going for further studies. Most of the candidates that attempted this question did very well.
(b) An argumentative essay on: the topic The disadvantages of motor bike out way the advantages. Few candidates attempted this question and based on the strength and depth of their argument their scores were below average.
(d) A descriptive essay on their father’s car. The few candidates that attempted this question performed fairly
(ẹ) This is an expository essay on the topic: There is time for everything. The essay required a philosophical view candidates were expected to drive home their points by writing a story that illustrate the topic. No candidate attempted this question.
