Observation
(a) The candidate is required to write a formal letter to seek for a job before his senior school certificate result will be released. Most of the candidates that attempted this question did very well.
(b) An argumentative essay on the topic: Livestock farming is more profitable than crop farming
Few candidates attempted this question and based on the strength and depth of their argument their scores were below average.
(d) A descriptive essay on the topic: My favourite teacher. The few candidates that attempted this question performed fairly.
(e) This is an expository essay on the topic: The role of parents in the education their children. Candidates were expected to write on how their parents had contributed or would have contribute to their education, to drive home their points candidates were expected to write a story that illustrate the topic.
