In this question, candidates were required to prepare:
(a) Ordinary share application account;
(b) Ordinary shares allotment account;
(c) Final call account;
(d) Stated (share) capital account;
(e) Company bank account.
Observation
Few candidates attempted the question and the performance was poor. Majority of them loss valuable marks due to their inability to identify and post the double entries for the items involved.
