General Comments
The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years. The questions were straightforward and also covered a wide range of the syllabus. The marking scheme was exhaustive and flexible and the rubrics were clear.
The performance of the candidates was slightly lower than the previous year with a population of 46,419 which had a raw mean score of 30 and standard deviation of 12.65 against the WASSCE for the School Candidates 2020 which had a population of 52,277 with a raw mean score of 38 and standard deviation of 12.22
