General Comments

The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years. The questions were straight forward and also covered a wide range of the syllabus. The marking scheme was exhaustive and flexible and the rubrics were clear.

The performance of the candidates was slightly better than the previous year with candidate’s population of 46,419which had a raw mean score of 29 and standard deviation of 08.43 against the WASSCE for the School Candidates 2020 which a candidate’s population of 52,277 with a raw mean score of 20 and standard deviation of 08.83
