This was a popular question among the candidates.  Many of the candidates who answered the question were able to name the elements of weather and the instruments used for measuring them.  Some could properly highlight the uses of the study of weather to man. However, some of the candidates could not explain the factors affecting climate.  The factors affecting climate include:

-           planetary wind;
-           natural vegetation;
-           cloud cover and humidity;
-           ocean current;
-           latitude;
-           altitude;
-           continentality (distance from the sea);
-           soil;
-           insolation;
