The question was popular among the candidates. Most of the candidates who attempted the question were able to draw the diagram of the earth showing the four major position during revolution around the sun. However, some of the candidates could not describe the effects of the rotation of the Earth. The expected answer were:
-           causes day and night
-           dawn and twilight
-           deflection of winds and ocean currents
-           rise and fall of tides
-           apparent sun rise and sun set
-           difference in local time
