The question was straight forward and popular with the candidates. Majority of the them gave good account of themselves. They gave the required number of points and articulated their points very well. These accounted for the very good performance in the question. Candidates identified some of the following points to score high marks:
- existence of democratic principles and practices;
- eradication of corruption;
- conduct of periodic, free and fair elections;
- provision of adequate security;
- legislation against coups d’ etat;
- fair distribution of natural resources, etc.
