This was a popular question and was attempted by most of the candidates. The performance of the candidates who attempted it was good as they really understood its demands. The candidates were expected to provide the following answers to the question.

1. There are two levels of government i.e. central or federal authority and constituent units.
2. Division of powers between the centre and component unit.
3. Existence of a written constitution.
4. It has a rigid constitution.
5. Supremacy of the constitution.
6. Independent judiciary.
