This question was  attempted by many candidates and their performance was fair.  In part (a)(i) candidates correctly identified the equipment illustrated in the diagram,  in (a)(ii) candidates also correctly read and recorded the reading of the equipment and in (a)(iii) candidates could not state the significance of the value obtained in(a)(ii) above.  In part (b) candidates correctly mentioned the human parts where the equipment could be placed for its usage.  In part (c) candidates could not correctly state the observations the equipment could indicate when used.
