General Comments

The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years.  The questions were straight forward and also covered wide scope of the syllabus.  The marking scheme was flexible and comprehensive.

The performance of the candidates was poor than the previous year with a candidates population of 13,877 which had a raw mean score of 34 and standard deviation of 14.83 against a raw mean score 36 and standard deviation of 14.14 for the May/June 2014 WASSCE which had a candidates population of 26,399.
