The  candidates did not answer the question on the meaning of Texture and pattern  well, which they wrote as colours used to beautify homes.
The  procedures for flower arrangement was poorly answered.

EXPLANATION OF TEXTURE AND PATTERN
Texture  refers to the surface appearance or feel of items such as curtains and  draperies, carpets, rugs and other things used for decorating the interior of a  room.  We can feel the texture of a  material by touching it.  Also when we do  not touch things, our eyes can interpret texture.  Texture is described as smooth shiny, soft,  rough, etc.
Pattern  refers to the design on surfaces and articles; Patterns are arrangement of  lines, shapes and colour as a decorative design on clothes, carpets etc.  also, patterns are used to design articles  like blouse, skirt, curtains, draperies, etc.
   
  (b)       PROCEDURES FOR  FLOWER ARRANGEMENT
            
  -        Choose  a suitable flower vase based on the area where the arrangement will be placed
  -        Sort  the flowers out in sizes and colours
  -        Fill  vase with water and sugar, sand or foam
  -        Choose  suitable design based on the shape of the vase
  -        Cut  the flower stems to different lengths
  -        Put  the flower in the vase, one at a time bearing in mind your design
  -        Leave  a space at the back through which a small quantity of water could be added if  necessary
  -        Choose  a design suitable for the place where the flower arrangement is meant for
