In Clothing and Textiles, many candidates were able to tackle questions on cotton articles, functions of some parts of a sewing machine, factors that influence the choice of colour for clothing and guidelines for taking body measurements.
In Foods and Nutrition, majority of the candidates answered their questions straight to the point. The candidates were able to list their points before explaining same. They also performed better in questions that were on breadmaking, consumer education, qualities of a good guest and items for table setting.
In Home Management, the candidates performed well in the questions dealing with good table manners, advantages of a polygamous family, linen and wool, sources and functions of consumer education and uses of some household equipment.
