Weakness/Remedies
The candidates’ major weakness was their inability to identify, interpret and answer questions correctly. They seemed to have little or no knowledge of the fundamental terms in the subject. This was obvious in their identification of the labeled parts of the refrigerator, types of food to store in the labeled parts of the refrigerator, guidelines for use of refrigerator in question (1)(a)(b) & (c). Candidates further displayed the lack of knowledge in questions (2)(a)&(b)  where they gave series of inadequate explanation to the three types of vegetarians and in question (5) where they were unable to draw correctly the steps in Home Management process. Furthermore, candidates also exhibited their weakness in their poor expression of ideas and myriad of spelling mistakes.
To overcome the above weakness:
Teachers should - Teach every topic and sub-topic in the syllabus deeply with the use of
Examples.
- revised 3 years scheme of work,

Students should - Study hard, prepare for examination,
      - Work on their command of English Language,
      - Strive to have in depth knowledge of the subject.
Parent should -   Invest in textbook.
