Observation

This question posed some difficulties as majority of the candidates’ could not state factors that will affect the time in accomplishing the task and give reasons for managing time while accomplishing the task. Therefore the candidates were unable to answer the question correctly and the performed woeful. The expected answers are
:
FACTORS AFFECTING THE USE OF TIME IN ACCOMPLISHING A TASK:  Size of the family, age composition of the family members, working condition – space arrangement, proper lighting, size of the kitchen, arrangement of ingredients and physical fitness a physically challenged person will have to put in more time to accomplish a task.

REASONS FOR MANAGING TIME:  It helps the home maker to have time for relaxation, it helps to establish a routine for housework, it minimizes waste of time and it reduce indecision in task performance/boosts confidence.
