Candidates' strengths were observed in the following areas:
(1) Candidates adhered strictly to the requirements of the rubrics.
(2) Candidates did not resort to guess-work in answering questions on literature books.
(3) A good number of candidates that answered questions on Phonology and Grammar
performed well.
