  • The city of Makkah was eventually captured.

  • The Hijrah marked a turning point in the history of Islam.

  • It marked the beginning of the Islamic calendar.

  • The name of the city was changed from Yathrib to Madinah.

  • Muhammad (S.A.W.) was officially recognised as the Prophet of Allah.

  • The Hijrah showcased the fraternity between the Anṣār and the Muhājirūn.

  • As a result of the unity, the Muslims became more powerful and victorious at wars.
