State the conditions that necessitate Ghusl in Islam and describe how it is performed.



This is one of the popular question among the candidates. Most of the candidates who attempted this question got it right by stating the conditions correctly while some candidates mis-interpreted it by writing on the performance of
 al-wudu instead of al-Ghusl. Despite that the general performance was still good.
The question requested the candidates to state the conditions that necessitate Ghusl and how it is performed.  Thus:

Ghusl is an Arabic term referring to the full-body ritual purification mandatory before the performance of various rituals and prayers. (Introduction)

 Ghusl

      1. Janābah.
      2. aya.
      3. Nifās.
      4. Janāzah.
      5. Dukhūlul-Islam.
      6. Jumcah ( Friday prayer).
      7. After washing a corpse.
      8. Before entering the state of Ihrām.
      9. cĪdayn ( Adhā and Fitr).

How to perform Ghusl

            1. Get clean water.
            2. Begin with the intention of performing Ghusl for purification.
            3. Saying the Basmalah silently.
            4. Wash the hands up to the wrists.
            5. Wash your private parts.
            6. Wash your hands to clean off the dirt.
            7. Perform ablution.
            8. Wash your head down to the roots of the hair.
            9. Divide your body into two parts.
            10. Wash the right side then the left.
            11. Pour water over your entire body.
            12. Move away from the area you just performed the Ghusl and wash your feet.
