This was one of the popular straight forward questions among the candidates and it was a compulsory question also. Most of the candidates performed well as expected while few performed below average .Despite that, the general performance was still good.
The question required the candidates to highlight six benefits of Sunnah to the Muslim Ummah, they are to define hadith and placed it as secondary source of Sharíah thus:

Hadith and Sunnah are interchangeably used to imply sayings (Qawli), deeds (Fi‘l) and tacit approvals (Taqrir) of the Prophet (S.A.W.) (Introduction).
