- Daffodils as a representation of nature
- Daffodils sooth and inspire the poet – their sudden sight sooths the poet’s lonely mind.
- In the company of the daffodils, the poet is happy, “gay”.
- When at home, away from the daffodils (nature) thoughts about them inspire the poet, making him enjoy his solitude.
Many candidates attempted the question and their performance was fair.
