This appears to be one of the most popular question.  However, many of them did not meet the demands of the question.

The required answers should include:

• Relation to the theme of racism and how it affected Bigger’s relationship.
• Biggers relationship with his mother: her constant scolding as an irritation to him.
• The aggressive nature of Bigger even though he loves his family.
• Bigger is traumatised and tries to cover up his inability to provide for his family by being harsh.
• His relationship with Buddy very cordial.
