Candidate's weaknesses were observed in these areas:
- Misinterpretation of questions.
- Inability to give detailed answers.
- Poor knowledge of set texts.
- Writing of irrelevancies
- Inability to express answers in good English.
- Suggested Remedies
To remedy the observed weaknesses, the Chief Examiners recommended that:
- Candidates should buy and read the set texts.
- Candidates should not depend on key points and summary notes alone.
- Candidates should enrol in lesson centres.
- Candidates should always read the rubrics before answering questions.
