OBSERVATION
Papa-Nnukwu is Engene and Ifeoma’s father and he is a symbol of tradition. He is a principled old man who refuses to be lured by his son to change his traditional belief. Papa-Nnukwu lives a balance life with his children and grandchildren. Until his death he is at peace with everyone, he does not discriminate on religion rather he prays for his children, even though Eugene hates to see him. His character further provides more information on Eugene’s attitude.
