Weakness and Remedies.

Candidates, weaknesses are noticed in the following areas:

• candidates are not well exposed to machine wood workshop practice;
• lack of understanding of turning operation;
• little or no exposure to lathe machine;
• candidates could not make sketches correctly.

SUGGESTED REMEDY FOR OVERCOMING THESE WEAKNESSES

Candidates should be exposed adequately to wood workshop machines and practices as stipulated in the syllabus. More due diligence should be imbibed by teachers on adequate training on making sketches.
