A summary of the candidates’ weaknesses is given below:
- Poor use of mining vocabulary
Some of the candidates were not yet familiar with mining terminology. Such candidates explained mining concepts using lay man registers.
- Inadequate explanation of points:
A few of the candidates did not explain the points as expected of them. This led to the loss of precious marks.
