The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of the previous years. The questions were free of any form of ambiguity and they were within the scope of the syllabus. The rubrics were clearly stated and the Marking Schemes exhaustively provided for all possible responses to the questions. However, candidates’ performance showed a marked improvement when compared to the previous years.
