Observation

Candidates performed below average in this question, they were expected to listen to two-part writing in G major and notate the upper part. This question was unpopular among the candidates, and most of them failed to exhibit a better understanding of the exercise. These class of candidates were unable differentiate between the upper and lower parts, while some of them notated the lower part on the treble clef instead of the base clef.  These wrong responses make candidates to loose substantial marks.
