Observation

Candidates’ overall performance in this question was above average. They were required to notate a given melody in the key of F major. The question was popular among the candidates and mostof the candidates performed very well in this question. Nevertheless, a few of them found it difficult to notate the dotted notes while some were writing in solfa notation instead of staff notation. This made them to lose some marks. Candidates were expected to respond to the question thus:
