(a) List three tools and equipment, which are useful in both the wet and dry areas of the dark- room.
- State the function of each of the following equipment in the dark – room:
- light box;
- spiral spool;
- trimmer;
- tong.
Observation
This was a straight forward question for the candidates. Nevertheless, candidates were expected to explain the following points in their answers:
(a) - film tank.
- safe light.
- photographic paper.
- storage facility.
- cooling system.
- timer.
(b) (i) it is used to view negative for selection before printing on the enlarger.
(ii) It is a plastic or metal reel into which a roll film is loaded for development into negative.
(iii) it is used to cut or crop photographs into desired sizes.
(iv) it is used in holding photographic paper, while inside the chemicals.
