Observation

The candidates answered the question to the best of their understanding. The candidates were expected to provide the following answers in order to score good marks.

            (a)        -           M        -  electronic flash/strobe light/studio flash/studio light
-           N         -  umbrellas or umbrella light/umbrella flash 
-           O         -  backdrop
-           P          -  reflector
-           Q         -  softbox
-           R         -  tripod stand                                                                                                
(b)        -           M        -  it is used to produce light/artificial illumination for
exposure (in the studio).
-           N         -  Umbrellas: accessory used to diffuse studio flash light to
create  soft light.
-  Umbrella light/umbrella flash: supplies illumination
for taking photographs in the studio.
-           O         -  it is a piece of fabric/paper hung behind the subject to serve
as the background.
-           P          -  this is a reflective surface used to redirect light
towards a given subject or scene.
-           Q         -  it is used to produce diffused and soft light from a single source.
-           R         -  it is a portable three legged accessory on which a camera is
placed for stability.
