State one function each of any five of the following:
(a) shutter release button;
(b) view finder;
(c) film advance lever:
(d) LCD;

Observation
This question is practically inclined. Testing the candidates’ ability in knowing the functions of the various parts of a camera. The candidates were expected to provide the following answers to the question:
(a) - it is the button or other control on the camera which trips the shutter to
make the exposure.
- it is the control/button on the camera which the photographer presses to take a picture/shot.
(b) - part of the camera that allows the photographer see/compose the image.
(c) - it is the mechanism for transporting/moving/rolling/advancing film from
the film cartridge/canister to the take-off spool one frame at a time.
(d) - an acronym for liquid crystal display used in digital cameras to view
images, menus and settings.
- It is used to review images captured by the camera.
(e) - it is a space on top of the camera where external flash can be electronically connected to the camera.
(f) - it is a control on the lens used to bring image into sharp focus.
