General Comments

 

The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years. The questions were straight forward and also covered wide range

of the syllabus. The marking was exhaustive and flexible.

The performance of the candidates was better than the previous year with a candidates population of 1,228 which had a raw mean score of 08 and standard deviation of 04.58 against a raw mean score of 10 and standard deviation of 04.90 for the Private Candidates 2016 WASSCE which had a candidates population of 1,089.
