General Comments on the paper as a whole

The standard of the paper was high, and compared favourably with those of the previous years. The questions were within the scope of the examination syllabus. The raw mean score of 33.0 and standard deviation of 15.03 indicated that the performance of the candidates was better than WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2018 with a raw mean score of 29.0 and standard deviation of 14.35. A total of 654 candidates sat the paper.
