General Comments

The standard of the paper was comparable to those of previous years. The coverage of the syllabus was wide and extended. The questions were well framed in simple language without ambiguity. Candidates’ performance was not encouraging as compared to previous years. The marking scheme was detailed and specific.

The time allotted was adequate. Candidates’ raw mean score of 06 and standard deviation of 06.16 with a candidature of 3,967 indicated a poor performance than that of WASSCE for Private Candidate 2020, which recorded a raw mean score of 13 and a standard deviation of 10.10 with a candidature of 6,287.
