Observation
Few candidates attempted this question and the candidates’ overall performance in this question was good. Some candidates, however, could not satisfactorily answer questions 4(b) and 4(c).
The expected response to question 4(b) and 4(c) is as follows:

- The part labelled W serves as ink reservoir. OR
- It allows even spread of ink by its rotation.
