Candidates' Weakness
Some of the weaknesses identified in the report were candidates’ inability to:
- measure quantities to the required precisions using measuring instruments;
- deal with prefixes such as micro, pico and nano;
- apply appropriate scales to plot graph.
Suggested Remedies
It was suggested that Candidates should:
- be more dynamic in the use of measuring instruments;
- familiarize self with common prefixes both in measuring and calculations;
- be taught how to apply the right scales for various kind of values in plotting graphs.
