General Comments
There are remarkable improvement on the standard of the questions and the performance of the candidates. One aspect that is worrisome is the fact that majority of the candidates avoid answering questions base on simple commercial arithmetic, equations and calculations. Meanwhile, the simple equations are of great importance to them for offering Salesmanship as a subject.
It is recommended therefore, that schools and collages should ensure that students in their various schools should be taught that aspect of the calculations and with more emphasis as to the need for all students offering the subject to acquire these basic rudiments necessary to keep accurate records of sales proceeds.
It is recommended that the Salesmanship 2 should be separated into section A, which would contain measurement and evaluation, based on simple calculation out of which students are expected to answer one question from that section while students should be asked to answer any other 4 questions from section B.
