Few candidates attempted the question and their performance was very poor.

The following are the answers to question 2b.
(i)        Scales - It is used to measure incoming and outgoing store materials.
(ii)        Weighbridge - It is used to ascertain the weight of stocks loaded on a vehicle without unloading it before they are received into the store.
(iii)       Hydrometer - It is used for measuring the density of certain liquids to ascertain the weight of the content.
(iv)       Dip sticks – It is used to measure liquid in large tanks in both surface and underground.
(v)        Measuring cup - It is used to measure grains, liquids and powdery products.
(vi)       Micrometer -   It is used to measure various gauges of dimensional stores items like small distances and angle.
