The candidates showed deficiencies in the areas relating to:

1. use of simple scale;
2. polygon construction: across corners and   across flats for  hexagon;
3. principle of true shape construction;
4. construction of heptagon using a specific general method;
5. ellipse construction using a specific method    - Foci   method;
6. use of drawing instruments in geometrical construction.
