Candidate's Weakness and Remedies

A SUMMARY OF CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES

          The candidates, however, could not adequately:

- draw the complete plan and the true shape of the cut surface of an equilateral triangular pyramid presented in first angle projection;

- construct a rectangle equal in area to a triangle with given dimensions;

- draw the development of a given container with open top.

 SUGGESTED REMEDY FOR OVERCOMING THE WEAKNESSES

Candidates were urged to practice regularly those areas identified with poor candidates’ performance. Candidates were also advised to always adequately study the examination questions given them before attempting any.
