General Comments

The standard of the paper was reported to be good and compared favourably with those of previous years.  The questions were unambiguous and within the scope of the WASSC Examination Syllabus.  The questions were spread to cover all parts of the Examination Syllabus.

The marking scheme was adequately prepared to capture the expected responses, alternative solutions were prepared where necessary and marks were fairly and judiciously awarded. 

Candidates’ performance had improved when compared with the previous year.
