This question was attempted by most of the candidates. These candidates equally performed creditably, by representing objects in definite and interesting forms. Their drawings were also rendered in bold and powerful strokes, which give strength and solidity to their compositions. However, some candidates drew more than the prescribed number of items, clearly in defiance to instruction and in some drawings; objects were drawn in isolation of each other. This resulted in lack of unity in compositions and automatically led to loss of obtainable marks.
