Candidates' Weakness

Candidates’ weaknesses were shown in their inability to:
-           sketch objects correctly and neatly; 
-           give reasons for creating gangways;
-           explain forging processes.
(2)        SUGGESTED REMEDIES FOR OVERCOMING THE WEAKNESSES
In order to overcome the weaknesses, it was suggested that candidates should have regular practical classes before taking the examination, as this would help develop their ability to explain, describe and produce a good sketch of welding objects and terms. Candidates should also make use of the recommended text books in preparing for the examination.
