Candidate's Weakness and Remedies

A SUMMARY OF CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES

Candidates’ weaknesses were show in the following areas:

(1)        interpreting the working drawing correctly;
(2)        preparation of the test item to the given specification;
(3)        completing the project within the given time frame.

 SUGGESTED REMEDIES

To overcome these weaknesses, candidates are hereby advised to:

(1)        work harder, mostly on the indentified weak areas;
(2)        practice regularly in the workshop;
(3)        learn to use the right tool for a given job.

Schools authorities are also advised to expose the candidates to more practical work and also provide them with adequate materials and equipments.
