This was a straightforward and simple question that requested the candidates to list the events of creation. Many candidates answered this question but could not list the events in chronological order. Similarly the concept of man as the image of God was poorly handled by some candidates. They did not explain that
(i) Man was charged with the control of every other creature.
(ii) He should have dominion over, the fish and animals.
(iii) He enjoys a relationship with God.
(iv) He knows what is good and bad.
On the long run the general performance was just above average. In the part ‘C’ of the question they failed to mention points like:
(i) God is the source and sustainer of life.
(ii) God is God of order/orderliness.
(iii) Creation is God’s idea. |
