They performed fairly well in 6a but did not do well in 6b.

This is a market where small transactions take place or where goods are sold in small units e.g. hawkers, roadside markets, departmental stores, supermarkets, etc.

  • They give information to manufacturers about consumer preferences and complaints.
  • Help manufacturers discover how their products can be improved upon.

  • They may give credit to customers.
  •      (i)          Meaning of Advertising

This is the publication of facts or opinions about goods and services to create awareness and capture interest of consumers.

                        (ii)        Factors That Influence Choice of Clothing Advertisement

                                    -           Type of market which advertiser is aiming at e.g. local
 or international market.
                                    -           Age of intended consumers, i.e. young or old
                                    -           Income level of consumers.
                                    -           Habit of the people.
                                    -           Status of consumer.
