This question expected and required the candidates to write on various ways by which the Qur' an was revealed. While some candidates misunderstood the question and wrote on the visit ofthe Prophet (S.A.W) to the Cave of Hi ra, where Angel Jibril met him to evolve the beginning of revelation. Others pointed out these modes correctly as contained in Qur'an 42:51. Summarily, candidates' performance was fair as far as the question was concerned.
